I realized I don't think I've blogged in the new year yet! So, it's 2013! YAY! Just a recap - I've celebrated 3 decades on the planet (mere seconds to God) and I've got some new beginnings on the horizon. It's looking promising for both me and many people close to me. One of my best girlfriends/mentors/sisters in the Lord/fill in the blank - found out she's pregnant with her first child! It's SO good to see God's promises come to fruition not only in your own life, but in the lives of others. The Lord is just GOOD. I could say more, but I won't, but I'm very happy for her and excited. This baby is a child of promise and I'm so excited to meet this little person. :-)
God has been speaking to me and showing me things differently lately. But I'm glad He's heard my prayers to give me ears to hear and eyes to see. Some things have had my heart a little heavy as of late, but I know I'll have to make some decisions that will have a lasting impact. Now, along with the ears to hear and eyes to see, I'm also praying for wisdom in how things are handled. I do not want to act out of my flesh, but by God's directives. He has blessed me with the desires of my heart and I must continue to focus on Him in this time of growth and change.
Overall, I am excited and happy and overwhelmed with the quickness of how God is moving to establish all He has spoken in my life and the lives of others.
